When the FJ heard that Rev. Dennis Kamakahi was facing Stage Four Lung Cancer, we realized that we had this previously unseen footage of the slack key master from 2012.
Kamakahi is performing on a borrowed 1968 Martin D-18. When we asked him what he called the tune he was playing, he responded with a laugh and simply said, “practice.”
